Cutting Chai is famous all over India and mostly in Mumbai. Small tea vendors around the corner of each street serve it to the best. But you must also try making it at home. Surely it will be more hygienic and tasty. So read the recipe below and try it on Holi 2020, surely everyone will love it.

Ingredients of Cutting Chai:

Use the following ingredients to make a perfect Cutting Chai.

Item Quantity
Water 1 cup
Cardamom 3 pods
Ginger (grated) 1-inch
Tea powder 2 teaspoons
Sugar 2 teaspoons
Full cream milk 3/4 cup

Making the Cutting Chai:

Take a saucepan and pour water into it. Open the cardamom pods and add them to the water. Now add tea powder into it. If you want the tea to be stronger, you can increase the amount of tea powder. Add sugar and grated ginger. Let the tea boil for about 5 minutes on medium flame. You can boil it for some additional time to make it a strong tea.

Add milk and boil the tea for two minutes. Make sure that everything mixes well. Use a strainer to filter the Chai. Serve it hot in small glasses and fill each one half because it is the Cutting Chai. Serve it with biscuits for a better experience.

Parsad on Holi 2020 – Easy Parsad Recipe For All

When we say that Holi also includes a color of food it means that there is some food with religious significance too. Yes, we are talking about the making of Parsad with an easy recipe on every occasion including Holi. So you must learn to make the perfect Parsad with us.

Parsad is a sweet that includes all the healthy ingredients and people love to have it all the time. Making Parsad at home is easy if you follow the right recipe. So let’s learn it with us.

Ingredients of Parsad:

You will need the following ingredients to make Parsad at home.

Item Quantity
All-purpose flour 1 cup
Ghee 1 pt
Sugar 1 cup
Evaporated milk 1 can
Cinamon 2 sticks
Cloves 8
Water 1 cup
Cherries Optional
Raisins Optional

Making Parsad on Holi:

Take a deep bowl and add water, sugar, cloves, and cinnamon in it. Boil for about 5 minutes to make a sugar syrup.

Take another pan and melt ghee in it over a medium flame. Add a little flour in it and keep on stirring so that it doesn’t burn. After you have mixed it well in the ghee, add a little more. Add all of the flour into the ghee this way.

After you have added all, turn the flame low and cook for about 10 minutes until it turns golden brown. When it becomes a bit dark and sticky, add sugar syrup into it.

Keep on stirring and then add cherries and raisins. When the mixture attains the required consistency, turn off the flame and put Parsad into the serving dish. Now you can enjoy it any time you want.

Kulfi on Holi 2020 – Traditional Indian Ice Cream Recipe

Kulfi is a traditional Indian ice cream that everyone loves. It tastes fantastic as it is made up of fresh, tasty, and healthy ingredients. Let’s learn its easy recipe with us.

Ingredients of Kulfi:

You should gather the following ingredients before you start making Kulfi at home.

Item Quantity
Almonds (ground) 2 cups
Condensed milk 2 cups
Milk 1/2 cup
Fresh cream 8 tablespoon
Saffron 15 strands
Pistachio 6
Blanched almonds 2 tablespoon

Making Kulfi on Holi:

Take a large bowl and put ground almonds, condensed milk, and cream into it. Whisk them all together until the batter gets thick. Now keep it aside.

Take a saucepan and boil milk in it over a high flame. After the milk boils, add saffron strands. When the milk mixes well with saffron, take off the pan from the stove and set it aside for cooling.

When the milk cools down, add the almond mixture into it and mix well. It will be creamy and thick now.

Take out another pan and heat it. Dry roast almonds and pistachios onto it for a few seconds. After that, leave some and add all the other to the kulfi mixture and mix well.

Now pour the kulfi mixture into kulfi molds and cover their tops by the lid or butter paper. Leave the molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours. Take out when you want to serve. And don’t forget to sprinkle almonds and pistachios over the kulfi.

Gulab Jamun on Holi 2020 – Juicy Sweet Snack Recipe for holi

Ingredients of Gulab Jamun:

You will need the following ingredients to make Gulab Jamun at home. Take care of the measurements also.

Item Quantity
Water 6 cups
Granulated sugar 3 cups
Cardamom powder 1 tablespoon
Rosewater 2 tablespoons
Powdered milk 3 cups
All-purpose flour 1.5 cups
Baking powder 1.5 teaspoons
Heavy cream 1 cup
Vegetable/canola/sunflower oil For frying

Making of Gulab Jamun on Holi:

Take a deep pan and add sugar and water in it. Boil the solution till the sugar dissolves, and it gains the consistency of sugar syrup. Now add cardamom powder and rosewater into it. Mix well and keep it aside.

Take a large bowl and mix powdered milk, baking powder, and flour into it. Make a smooth dough out of it by keeping on adding a little cream. Make sure that the final batter is medium soft and is not sticky.

After the dough is ready, make walnut-sized balls of it and roll each one thoroughly with your hands. Keep your hands greased while you do it and make sure there is no crack in each ball you make.

Preheat oil on a medium flame in a deep and wide pan. Fry Jamun balls in it and occasionally stir so that the balls are equally brown from each side. While you remove the balls from the oil, use a slotted spoon to drain the excess oil. After that, immediately transfer these balls to the sugar syrup.

Make sure that each ball remains in the sugar syrup for at least 2 hours before you serve Gulab Jamuns. You can serve them along with the syrup, or you can serve them taken out of the syrup.
