Ingredients of Sweet Rice:

To make sweet rice, you will be needing of following ingredients.

Making Sweet Rice:

Soak rice in water for almost an hour. After that, cook the rice in milk. Add salt and also water if required. Take another saucepan and make sugar syrup in it. You will need to put water and sugar in the pan to make sugar syrup.

When the syrup is ready, add cooked rice into it. With that, add food color, cardamom, and 1 tablespoon of ghee. Stir it on a low flame for about 10 minutes or when the water is absorbed.

Take another frying pan and put 1 tablespoon of ghee in it. Fry coconut and cashew nuts in it until they turn golden brown. After that, add them to Sweet Rice, and the dish is ready to be served.
