holi natak

A Natak is an Indian name for a stage play. On Holi, the Natak that people like the most are the stories of Krishna and Radha, and their immortal love.

Relating Holi to Krishna and Radha:

Radha was a young girl and was very pretty. And Krisha has pale blue skin. He thought that Radha would not like him. So he talked about his concern to his mother. His mother advised him to play a prank and color the face of Radha. So he did that, and Radha fell in love with Krishna. So the color play of Holi has an association with the immortal love of Radha and Krishna.

There is a place in India where people do this Natak daily. Learn more about it here.
